Complete Periodontal Care CE Lecture: Springfield-Eugene, OR

August 24, 2022 | 6:30pm - 9:30pm

All veterinarians and technicians are invited to a FREE Continuing Education (CE) lecture.*

Dr. Brook A. Niemiec DAVDC, DEVDC will be presenting:

How to diagnose and treat the most common oral maladies.

About The CE* Lecture:

Oral, dental, and maxillofacial diseases comprise by far the most common issues faced by our patients on a daily basis.

However, accurate dental education is rare to nonexistent, leading to under, as well as, incorrect therapies. Further, the fact that most oral diseases do not create outward clinical signs means treatment often comes very late in the course of the disease.

This lecture will discuss the most common oral diseases, their pathogenesis and ramifications for the patient, and proper diagnosis and treatment. Topics include:

  • Fractured teeth
  • Periodontal disease
  • Feline tooth resorption
  • Oral neoplasia
  • Feline Caudal Stomatitis
  • Discolored teeth
  • Malocclusions
  • Retained deciduous teeth

This FREE event will provide 2 hours of RACE-approved CE*.

*“Course meets the requirements for 2 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB's RACE approval; however participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education.”
