Bio

Dr. Amber Hopkins obtained her anesthesia and pain management board certification from the University of Pennsylvania.  She is certified in acupuncture, rehabilitation, canine pain management, CPR, and extracorporeal therapies.

She spent the last four years as a Board Member for the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia and the Veterinary Anaesthesia & Analgesia Journal.  She now serves as a Board Member for the Academy of Veterinary Educators.

Dr. Hopkins was also spotlighted as one of 12 Specialists in the country by Today’s Veterinary Business.

She has a passion for patient safety, high-quality patient care, and an excellent patient and client experience.  She is the founder and CEO of Summit Veterinary Anesthesia & Analgesia, LLC.
