Meet Dr. Bajwa

Dr. Bajwa grew up in the vibrant city of Lahore, Pakistan, where his love for animals began at an early age. He studied at Forman Christian University before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, graduating cum laude in 2019.

While in school, he dedicated time to helping stray and shelter animals, often volunteering in spay and neuter programs to improve animal welfare in his community.

Driven by his passion for veterinary medicine, Dr. Bajwa moved to the U.S. to pursue his dream. He worked as a veterinary assistant and technician while completing his licensing exams and officially became a licensed U.S. veterinarian in 2021. Since then, he has practiced both an accomplished general practice and emergency medicine, gaining extensive experience and developing a special interest in oral surgery and dentistry.

In 2024, he began shadowing VDS diplomate Dr. Robert Furman and later entered residency under his guidance in dentistry and oral surgery. Since joining VDS, Dr. Bajwa has been a vital member of the team, delivering compassionate and skilled care to numerous patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Bajwa loves the outdoors and can often be found hiking in Southern California and beyond. He also enjoys playing sports such as pickleball, cricket, badminton, and baseball—and occasionally a good game of chess.

Dr. Bajwa and his family have called Orange County home since 2020. He and his wife, who is also a veterinarian, are proud parents to a beautiful little girl. Their orange cat, Burfee, is trained to hike on a leash, bringing together his love of the outdoors and his affection for animals. Dr. Bajwa looks forward to welcoming another cat into the family soon.

Dr. Bajwa believes in practicing with compassion and empathy, always taking the time to educate pet parents about their companions’ health. He follows a “no pain” philosophy, striving to ensure that every patient receives the highest level of care in a gentle and supportive manner.
