Katie moved from Virginia to Seattle in 2008 and has since loved living in the PNW. Katie has always loved working with animals and worked adjacent to the veterinary industry for many years. In 2012, Katie decided to turn her love for animals into a career and went to school to earn her veterinary technician license. Katie has been working in veterinary dentistry for many years and has loved seeing the improvement that good dental hygiene and care can have on a patient’s quality of life. Katie’s passion for dentistry has grown immensely over the years, which lead her to pursuing and becoming a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Dentistry. Katie has been with the VDS Seattle since January 2024 and has been an integral team member who started and continues to grow our new practice.

When Katie is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her 3 cleverly named cats, Ilena Little, Arya Underfoot, and Freddy Krueger; as well as her 2 guinea pigs Mabel and Waddles. She enjoys travelling, hiking, playing board/video games, attending local live music events, and art.
